Staying recently at Beachcomber’s exclusive Sainte Anne Resort & Spa in the Seychelles proved to be a delightful experience. I had not thought it possible to have such tranquillity and privacy so close to Mahé – a 10 minute boat transfer away. This excellent villa resort and spa is set on its own 500 acre private island. There are 87 villas, of which 29 have their own swimming pools.
Sainte Anne has everything going for it; its idyllic marine-park setting, exquisite villas all with private terraces or gazebos occupying nearly a mile of soft white sand as well as superb food at the resort’s five restaurants. The main restaurant L’Abondance offers a choice of buffets and a la carte menus, L’Oceane located on the beach specialising in fish, seafood and Creole recipes, Le Mont Fleuri with its world renowned Mediterranean cuisine and beneath that Le Robinson, perfect for that romantic evening under the stars, and finally the seasonal Takamaka Beach Bar.
With its three beautiful beaches and large acreage Sainte Anne Resort & Spa offers something for everyone.
