Situated on the edge of Funchal, Reid’s Palace is set in 10 acres of lush semi tropical gardens. Here you can truly relax in the many delightful quiet areas of the gardens or down at sea level.

Bedrooms at Reid’s Palace are very comfortable and individually decorated and all have balcony or terrace with either garden or sea view. The choice of restaurants is excellent and will suit all tastes. From the more formal Dining Room where gentlemen are requested to wear jacket and tie to the more informal Villa Cipriani. Les Faunes is a seasonal restaurant, open from October to May, as is Brisa do Mar, serving French creative cuisine, open from June to September, the al fresco restaurant set in the hotel gardens with stunning views over the bay of Funchal. There is also the Garden Room for breakfast and the pool restaurant for buffet lunches.

Reid’s Palace has 2 heated swimming pools (one seawater one freshwater) plus a natural pool at sea level and a children’s pool.
