Reid's Palace - Premium Room

Reid's Palace, an Orient Express Hotel and member of The Leading Hotels of the World is Madeira's best known hotel. Opened in 1891, Reid's Palace has changed and moved with the times so well that it is the perfect hotel for families and couples as well as for the solo traveller.

Situated on the edge of Funchal, Reids Palace is set in 10 acres of lush semi tropical gardens. Here you can truly relax in the many delightful quiet areas of the gardens or down at sea level.

Bedrooms at Reids Palace Madeira are very comfortable and individually decorated and all have balcony or terrace with either garden or sea view. The choice of restaurants is excellent and will suit all tastes. From the more formal Dining Room where gentlemen are requested to wear jacket and tie to the more informal Villa Cipriani. Reids Palace has 2 heated swimming pools (one seawater one freshwater) plus a natural pool at sea level and a children's pool. An excellent childrens club makes the hotel a great choice for families. A spacious, airy building which houses a large welcoming reception area, 4 treatment rooms each with outdoor terrace plus a couples suite, together with a large rooftop terrace for relaxing pre or post treatment. The therapists are charming and very professional. There also is a fully equipped gym with the enviable sea views making this Madeira's number one spa hotel.
